French Toast

We have tried numerous french toast recipes over the years, but this is the only one that consistently satisfies my husband, who is not a french toast fan. And BONUS! Warm up any left-overs, drizzle with honey, and it tastes like a glazed donut. Seriously. (Of course, this is coming from someone who hasn't even seen a glazed donut since moving abroad, so I may not be the best judge.)

Serves 5

5 eggs
1 1/2 cups milk
1/4 cup sugar
2 tablespoons orange juice
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
10-12 pieces thickly sliced bread (we use the typical BiH bread, which is similar to French bread)

1) In medium-sized bowl, mix together all ingredients except bread slices. Dip a bread slice in the egg mixture, coating both sides.
2) Place on heated grill and cook until golden. Turn and cook opposite side until golden. Repeat with remaining bread slices. Serve immediately. Enjoy!
