I know that this recipe exists elsewhere in various forms, however I had never experienced it myself until a pot luck breakfast several years ago. It was intensely sweet, custardy, and oh so good. When I finally got the recipe from my friend, it had the title "The Kind That Will Kill You" and I can't think of a more fitting description. Putting syrup on these would be an act of suicide. You must try them!
